The room at Akha River House CR was just perfect for our family! It had a cozy balcony where we could enjoy our morning coffee and take in the beautiful view. The electric kettle was also a great convenience for making tea in the evenings. we felt right at home!

the staff was friendly and even organized a drop off to the bus station for me, which was a nice touch. the location by the river added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Since most of the sights in Chiang Rai are on the outskirts of the city, I didn't spend much time at the hotel. the rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having a patio by the river.

I had a fantastic stay at Akha River House! The hotel is located on a little river outside the city center, giving it a peaceful and natural atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I had a lovely patio overlooking the river. The staff was amazing, working 24 hours and always eager to help. They even had a black-and-white cat at the reception desk! Despite the language barrier with the night staff, they made every effort to communicate and meet our needs. One of the older staff members provided useful information about local markets and sights. Additionally, the hotel is within walking distance of the night market and city center.

The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk to the city center and easy access to tuktuks. the blue temple was within walking distance. We found the hotel to be good value for money.
